If you have been surfing youtube lately you must of noticed some of the Youtube subliminal messages.

These are videos people have made at home highlighting the subliminal suggestions which have been used in a movie, or a tv show, a song, advert, you name it. If you do a search for subliminal messages on youtube then you are inundated with 1000s videos of this kind.

Subliminal messages are all around us, but now people ar sharing them when they find them with help from the viral power of youtube.

Subliminals are only very slight suggestions which go into your mind un-noticed. i.e. they set off your critical thinking function like an obvious suggestion would – you don't argue against the suggestion at all. Subliminal messages go into your mind without resistance and slowly start to change your physical behavior.

subliminal messages are being used by everyone from McDonalds to local resaurants, and their continued use only brings more evidence to ability to influence us.

A really famous popular example is when McDonalds were busted for using subliminal advertising on the food network. During the Iron Chef program a flash of the McDonalds logo is seen for just 1/10th of a second.

Through youtube this subliminal advert got major international attention despite the video being filmed on a camcorder in someone's house from a clip he recorded on TV.

McDonalds denied it all straight away and said it was the food network's doing. But obviously the food network in turn denied everything too.

We all have regular access to the internet and anyone can make a video and put it on youtube or google video. if we do this we can increase the awareness of the manipulation which is going on by politicians and corporate companies. Only when we make a massive stand against this practice will the advertisers get a bad reputation and take note.
